Benefit Navigator – Thrive Utah (2 Positions)

About the Role:

Location: Hybrid based in Utah
Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Salary: $65,000–$70,000 annually + benefits
Reports To: Program Director

Thrive Utah Benefit Navigators work directly with TANF-eligible families to reduce barriers, increase income, and reduce reliance on public assistance. This is a hands-on role combining case management, coaching, and resource navigation, ideal for someone passionate about family-focused, long-term change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enroll and support eligible families
  • Create individualized plans with participants and guide goal achievement
  • Coordinate access to employment, education, and financial resources
  • Connect with local organizations to recruit and serve participants
  • Track data, outcomes, and participant progress
  • Attend team meetings and trainings
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2–4 years experience in coaching, case management, or family services
  • Knowledge of TANF or public benefit programs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working in diverse community settings
  • Ability to travel in-state
  • Availability for occasional evening/weekend outreach
